FULL DESCRIPTION

Water Technician - level 2

[Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] is seeking a Mobile Water Technician to cover the West Sussex area. The role involves completing Legionella maintenance PPMs, remedial cleaning, sampling, chemical testing, and minor plumbing. Responsibilities include maintaining water log books, carrying out system clean and disinfections, and servicing thermostatic mixing valves. Candidates with experience in compliance servicing, Legionella monitoring, or water treatment are preferred, but those with limited direct experience in similar fields are welcome. Role Responsibilities

  • Completing a range of Legionella maintenance PPMs, remedial cleaning, sampling, chemical testing and minor plumbing
  • Completion of routine monitoring tasks in line with the Approved Code of Practice L8
  • Maintain our customer's water log books and complete the necessary documentation in accordance with current guidelines and company policy
  • Carry out water system clean and disinfections in accordance with the Approved Code of Practice L8 and company procedures.
  • Testing, servicing and maintaining of thermostatic mixing valves and basic plumbing works where required.
  • Carry out clean and disinfections of cooling towers and process water systems

What we're looking for

  • Someone with previous experience within Compliance Servicing, Legionella Monitoring or Water Treatment
  • We welcome applicants with limited or no direct experience, provided they have relevant experience in similar fields
  • Advanced knowledge and experience of maintaining water systems is desirable
