Site Supervisor - Telecoms
[Employer hidden — view at passion-project.co.uk] is seeking a Site Supervisor for Telecoms to lead site teams on telecoms infrastructure projects across the UK, based in Glasgow. Responsibilities include overseeing installations, maintenance, and small civils works, ensuring H&S compliance, and mentoring team members. Requires engineering background or telecoms experience, MATS Tower Climber experience preferred, and full UK driving licence.
Role Responsibilities
- Lead site-based teams to deliver high-quality telecoms work at ground level and at height.
- Oversee installations, decommissioning, inspections and maintenance of telecoms structures.
- Carry out small civils works including fencing and concrete repairs.
- Ensure all activities meet high standards of Health & Safety and quality compliance.
- Mentor junior team members and provide technical input to office-based teams to support effective project planning and delivery.
Required Qualifications
- Engineering background preferred; telecoms experience is an advantage.
- 2–3 years' experience as a MATS Tower Climber or similar (desirable).
- Experience working safely at height on towers and masts as part of a team.
- Strong understanding of workplace safety and quality standards.
- Full UK driving licence with no more than 6 points.
