SIA Trainer

[Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] is seeking an SIA Trainer to deliver and evaluate SIA security officer, door supervisor, and CCTV courses. The role requires travel across the UK, a Level 3 teaching qualification, conflict management and physical intervention certificates, and current SIA qualifications. The role is full-time based in London.

Job Overview

Established sector competence in security, door supervision, CCTV, health and safety, fire safety. First class level of customer service. Works well on their own and as part of a team. Health and safety awareness and knowledge. Excellent communicator.

Main Duties

  • Deliver and evaluate SIA security officer, door supervisor and CCTV courses to the business
  • Work with the Learning support team to deliver training in line with business requirements
  • Complete all course related admin accurately after each course
  • Ensure all security training meets regulatory and QA standards where required
  • Ensure all training is delivered in an engaging and professional manner
  • Maintain continuous CPD requirements
  • Be an ambassador for the [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] security's vision and values and ensure they are embedded into all training interventions

What we are looking for

  • Minimum Level 3 teaching qualification or higher
  • Conflict management trainer certificate
  • Physical intervention trainer certificate
  • Current Security Officer, Door Supervisor, CCTV qualifications
  • Current First Aid /Assessor qualification
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and facilitation skills
  • Experience in delivering both face-to-face and blended learning approaches
  • Resilient, adaptable, and flexible
  • Strong attention to detail and a creative approach to delivery
  • Excellent planning, diary management and time management skills
  • Strives for excellence and is passionate about own personal and professional development
