PET1 Retail security officer

Job Overview

[Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] is seeking a Retail Security Officer to protect customer property, people, and assets at a LIDL location in Spalding. Key duties include compliance with Assignment Instructions, incident reporting, check calls, and obtaining required SIA licences (Security Guarding or Door Supervision plus CCTV PSS). The role demands professionalism, attention to health & safety, and commitment to service excellence.

Main Duties

• Ensure compliance with policies, legal requirements, and Assignment Instructions
• Complete all site tasks as defined in Assignment Instructions
• Proactively review and suggest improvements to Assignment Instructions
• Maintain valid SIA licences (Security Guarding/Door Supervision and CCTV PSS)
• Complete all required training and professional development
• Report health & safety hazards, stay alert to threats, and maintain professional conduct
• Conduct check calls at allocated times, call emergency services and Communication Centre when needed

What We Are Looking For

• SIA License (Security Guarding or Door Supervision)
• CCTV PSS SIA Licence required
• SC Clearance desirable
