Salary: £31,080 per year (40 hours/week)

Job Description

As a Detainee Custody Officer at the Vehicle Base, you will escort and transport immigration residents within the UK, drive a minibus, and maintain high security and safety standards. Full training provided including a 4-week paid course.

Key Responsibilities

  • Escorting and transporting immigration residents within the UK
  • Driving a small minibus-sized vehicle ensuring safe transportation
  • Maintaining high security and safety standards
  • Treating residents with dignity and respect
  • Working a mix of day and night shifts (24/7 operation)

Requirements

  • UK Citizen, Commonwealth Citizen with ILR, or EEA Citizen
  • Valid UK passport
  • Lived in UK continuously for past 3 years
  • Pass Enhanced DBS, employer referencing, and Counter-Terrorist Check
  • Full UK manual driving licence (minimum 12 months)
  • Fewer than 7 points on licence, no driving bans in last 12 months
  • Over 21 years of age
