We're looking for a Junior Finance Business Partner to join our Business Services Facilities Management central finance team, supporting accurate financial reporting and driving strong commercial insight across the business.
Working closely with the Senior Finance Business Partner – Divisional Costs, you'll play a key role in ensuring the effective allocation of monthly costs, supporting month-end processes, and helping the business make informed financial decisions.
Role Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with Group Accounting Policies and procedures.
- Manage assigned central finance processes to ensure consistency across service lines.
- Support the production of monthly management accounts and reporting schedules, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Review, reconcile and analyse monthly financial data, including cost performance against budget and key balance sheet items.
- Build effective relationships across the business, including Group, MSS and operational finance teams.
- Support audits and liaise with internal and external stakeholders as required.
- Continuously improve financial processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Complete ad-hoc financial analysis, tasks and projects, demonstrating initiative and problem-solving capability.
Required Qualifications
- Part-qualified or newly qualified accountant with strong analytical capability.
- High level of proficiency in Microsoft Excel, with the ability to manage large data sets.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with confidence influencing in a matrix environment.
- Excellent attention to detail, strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise effectively against deadlines.
