Asbestos Consultant

[Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] is seeking an Asbestos Consultant to carry out specialist asbestos surveying and analytical duties across properties in Taunton, Bridgwater, Highbridge. This is a full-time, on-site role with excellent salary and benefits.

Role Responsibilities

  • Conduct asbestos sampling, reinspections, Management, Refurbishment and Demolition surveys in accordance with HSG264 and company procedures.
  • Carry out additional duties including collecting site data, transport of asbestos samples to UKAS-accredited laboratories, and completing asbestos survey reports and drawings.
  • Conduct air monitoring and 4‑stage clearance procedures in line with HSG248 and UKAS-accredited procedures.
  • Build and maintain client relationships, providing specialist advice and technical support.
  • Liaise with Asbestos Surveying Quality, Contracts, Projects Managers and Supervisor.

Required Qualifications

  • BOHS P402 qualified (or equivalent).
  • BOHS P403/P404 qualified (or equivalent).
  • Strong knowledge of asbestos surveying across domestic, commercial and/or industrial sectors.
  • Full UK driving licence.
