FULL DESCRIPTION
[Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] is hiring a Grounds Maintenance Operative in Crawley, West Sussex. This is a full-time, permanent position paying £14.80 per hour. The role involves maintaining outdoor spaces, including grass cutting, hedge trimming, spraying, and litter picking. A full UK driving licence is required.
Role Responsibilities
- Carry out grass and hedge cutting, border maintenance, leaf clearing, spraying, and litter picking
- Operate hand tools and powered horticultural machinery safely and effectively
- Deliver winter services including gritting, snow clearance, and Christmas tree installation
- Report site hazards and relevant information to management
- Follow health and safety procedures and undertake additional training as required
What We're Looking For
- Passion for working outdoors in agile and flexible environments
- Good understanding of smartphone technology
- Grounds maintenance experience is desirable but not essential
- PA1 & PA6 spraying license is a plus
- Full UK driving license preferred
