Employment: Part time

Pay Rate: £13.45 per hour

Job Description

[Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] is recruiting a Relief Security Officer to cover health centres in the Manchester area, stepping in for holidays, sickness, and last-minute cover. This is a dynamic role with variety.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Protecting people, property, and assets across multiple sites
  • Delivering security services in line with Assignment Instructions (AI's)
  • Maintaining a visible and professional presence at all times
  • Responding promptly and effectively to incidents and emergencies
  • Completing accurate reports and maintaining site records
  • Ensuring compliance with all company policies, legal, and safety requirements
  • Carrying out scheduled check calls and site duties reliably

What We're Looking For

  • Previous security experience
  • Valid SIA Licence (Security Guarding or Door Supervision)
  • Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle (essential)
  • Strong communication skills and a professional attitude
  • Flexibility to cover shifts at short notice

  • Identifying and reporting potential hazards or risks
  • Staying alert to changes in your environment and acting proactively
  • Handling challenging situations calmly and professionally
  • Liaising with emergency services when required
