Security Officer

Job Overview

• Ensure a safe and secure environment for DWP staff, visitors, and property.
• Patrol the premises regularly to identify potential security threats.
• Respond effectively to emergencies or suspicious situations.
• Liaise with local law enforcement and emergency services as needed.
• Provide a high level of customer service and assist staff and visitors.
• Conduct routine security checks and submit incident reports.

Security and Health & Safety

• Report any Health & Safety hazards immediately.
• Stay alert to threats and take appropriate action.
• Maintain professional conduct in difficult situations.
• Complete detailed notebook entries and incident reports.

• Call emergency services and Communication Centre for all incidents.

What We Are Looking For

• Previous Security Experience
• DS Licence required
• Use common sense and initiative, involve others if a situation appears threatening.
