Qualifications

• Skills for Security trained & certificated
• SIA licensed
• First Aid trained & certificated
• ACT Awareness certified (desirable)

Previous Experience

• Corporate Customer Services background (desirable)
• Ability to use MS Windows and MS Office applications
• A sound understanding of electronic security Access Control & CCTV systems (desirable)

Responsibilities

• Protection of Life, Property, Prevention of Crime and Loss
• Develop first class customer service relations
• Assist visitors with directions and guidance
• Maintain knowledge of Site Assignment Instructions and Emergency Procedures
• Log and transfer calls, relay messages
• Escort contractors and cleaning operatives
• Conduct fire watch and loss prevention patrols
• Provide ad-hoc cover for BNY receptionist
• React positively in emergency situations
• Complete site induction and training

Operational Duties

• Maintain high visibility security posture
• Monitor and control access to front entrance
• Greet and assist staff and visitors
• Collaborate with Security Control Room
• Complete incident reports
• Assist with special events
• Observe perimeter and reception areas
• Immediate response to incidents
• Application of SCaN principles and Power of Hello
• Understand crowd control, trespass, protest guidance
• Fulfil loading bay rotation duties
• Operate mail X-ray scanner
• Step up to Duty Supervisor or CCTV Controller when needed
