About the Role

As the Sales Coordinator, you will be responsible for aiding and assisting the team to ensure the Sales Department runs smoothly. You will also collaborate with the Estimating Department on a regular basis.

Responsibilities

  • Answering incoming phone calls
  • Monitoring the Sales & Information email inboxes
  • Downloading data from tender enquiries, entering the job onto the enquiry register and creating job folders in the company IT system
  • Running credit checks
  • Completing and submitting PQQ (pre-qualification questionnaire) Documents
  • Keeping Estimators' workload schedules and enquiries registers updated
  • Setting up tender returns and assisting the Sales & Estimating teams with them
  • Submitting tender returns on clients' portals for the Estimators
  • Converting quotes into project files when an order is received and enter onto the contract register
  • Add relevant forms and documents to contract folders
  • Assisting with NDA's to ensure they are issued to the legal department for checking and comments
  • Booking hotels when requested via the company portal
  • Onboarding new suppliers and customers
  • Uploading all required documents, photos, drawings, etc.
  • General administrative requests from the Sales & Estimating department

Essential Skills

  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently as well as using own initiative
  • IT literate
  • Ability to multitask
  • Have a can-do, hands-on attitude

Desirable Skills

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Project or other construction programme generating software
  • Knowledge of the Fire Protection or Fire Detection Industry
  • Previous experience of Building Information Modelling (BIM) or Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC)
  • Knowledge of Microsoft PowerPoint
