Role Overview

[Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] is seeking a Water Technician to manage water treatments for customers, ensuring safety and regulatory compliance. This role involves performing allocated tasks within agreed timescales, maintaining accurate documentation, and supporting key business functions.

Role Responsibilities

  • Complete allocated jobs within agreed timescales.
  • Complete all necessary documentation accurately and submit on the electronic system in live time.
  • Must not exceed one audit failure per year.

Required Qualifications

Applicants must meet the below defined requirements:

  • Ensure all equipment used is safe and fit for purpose.
  • Have skills in line with levels 1 & 2 as well as either: Technical service (closed heating and chilled system testing, cooling tower weekly/monthly checks and water treatment of boilers), Plumbing & water treatment remedial skills, Acid descaling of boilers, towers and condensers, Ability to carry out multiple tasks across a range of work disciplines, Ability to train less experienced technicians/engineers, Ability to interpret results and make recommendations.
  • Depending on entity: Conduct secondary disinfection testing, plant inspections, Silver Copper analysis, BSRIA Chemistry and Micro sampling, closed system analysis, plumbing & water treatment remedial skills.
