Location: Coventry (Amazon - Lyons Park)
Salary: £14.38/hour
Hours: 11 hours/day, 7am-7pm, 4 on/4 off
Employment: Full-time, Permanent
About the Role

In your new role as Supervisor, you'll be working within a warehouse environment as part of our cleaning and waste team. You will supervise/operate specific equipment, cleaning practises and use of chemicals to the correct operational guidelines.
Key Responsibilities
- Carrying out daily and weekly checks of all machinery, reporting any faults to the Site Manager
- Ensuring that all Health & Safety is understood and adhered to
- Liaising with the Site Manager in shift operation
- Helping monitor the waste produced using weekly checklists and monitoring procedures
- Reviewing equipment to verify they are kept clean and materials are left secured when not in use
- Undertaking any cleaning and ad-hoc duties according to business needs
- Dealing with customer complaints
- Attending appropriate training sessions
- Ensuring awareness of Company/Client statutory fire and safety regulations

Qualifications
In order to be successful, you will need:
- Previous supervisor experience
- Good customer focus and service skills
- Ability to prioritise workload effectively
- Good organisational skills
- Ability to work on own initiative
- Good awareness of Health and Safety legislation
- Communicative English (may require assessment)
- Completion of Basic Disclosure (DBS Check) and drug/alcohol screening
