Role: Cleaning Staff
Location: Buckingham Palace, London
Contract Duration: 1st July – 4th October 2026
Working Hours: 6 days a week, flexible hours
Hourly Rate: £15.50 per hour

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness across Buckingham Palace, including public and private areas.
• Walk continuously for long periods.
• Follow a structured break schedule (every 4 hours).
• Provide a high standard of service to our guests and staff.
• Ensure equipment is kept clean, well maintained and in safe working order, meeting all agreed SLAs.
• Build knowledge and understanding of the designated cleaning area, schedules, and cleaning equipment/chemicals used on the premises, following Health and Safety requirements.
• Undertake all required training successfully.
• Work within a team and also under own initiative.
• Build positive and productive working relationships with customers, delivering excellent customer service and continuously seeking improvements.

What We're Looking For

• Experience in the cleaning industry is desirable but not essential.
• Fluency in English to communicate effectively with the team.
• Polite, professional demeanor and a well-presented appearance.
• Must be prepared to work flexible hours.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Reliable, hardworking with a professional attitude.
