About the Role

What You'll Be Doing
Security & Site Protection
- Maintain a safe and secure environment for DWP staff, visitors, and property
- Conduct regular site patrols and identify potential risks
- Respond calmly and effectively to incidents, emergencies, or suspicious activity
- Liaise with local emergency services when required
- Carry out routine security checks and complete incident reports
Customer Service & Professional Conduct
- Provide a welcoming, professional presence at all times
- Assist staff and visitors with security-related queries
- Handle challenging situations with confidence and professionalism
Health & Safety Responsibilities
- Identify and report hazards or security risks immediately
- Take proactive steps to prevent disruption, loss, or damage
- Keep accurate logs and incident records

What We're Looking For
Essential:
- Valid SIA Door Supervisor (DS) licence
- Full UK driving licence and own vehicle
- Flexibility to travel across regional sites
Desirable:
- Previous security experience
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Reliable, professional, and calm under pressure
