Role Overview

We're looking for a Mobile Fabric Engineer who will be responsible for carrying out a range of general / fabric maintenance and support tasks.

Role Responsibilities

• Minor building fabric repairs, including relamping of defective luminaries, minor decorating and minor plumbing repairs.
• Weekly & monthly planned maintenance tasks as scheduled (fire alarm tests, flushing of little used outlets / water temperature recording, emergency lighting tests, etc.).
• Participation in standby rota for emergency calls, outside normal working hours (currently 1 in 3).
• Monthly utilities meter readings.
• First line response to reactive repairs.

Required Qualifications

• Full, current driving license.
• Background in facilities or mobile maintenance, in a construction or similar environment.
• Qualified to Level 2 or 3 City & Guilds - preferred but not essential.
