Storeman

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a successful security company who specialise in Security / Access Control Systems to some of the UK's largest Utility companies across the UK, to join as a Storeman and help to develop the business during an exciting phase of growth.

The storeman will be based in our pre-build workshop situated at our head offices in Newcastle Upon Tyne, however they will be required to deliver goods to customers / sites / colleagues. Therefore, a valid UK licence with no more than 6 pts on it is a necessity.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Manage warehouse stock (receiving, picking, packing and storing)
  • Driving company vehicles to deliver goods to customers / sites / colleagues
  • Inventory management
  • Order fulfilment through the picking and packing of customer orders.
  • Reporting Health & safety defects / incidents / accidents and near miss situations to the Commissioning Managers
  • Ensuring image and name associated with RHI Industrials Ltd are upheld at all times.
  • Verification of times claimed on timesheets and any other personal expenses
  • For ensuring that company management systems and processes are adhered to
  • For promoting good practice of material sustainability (Reuse and/or Recycle) initiatives to reduce waste and save costs
  • For reporting to the Technical Accounts Managers all defective materials and substandard quality/workmanship standards that do not meet the works specification/s
