Hygiene Multi-Operative

[Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] is seeking a Hygiene Operative to provide excellent service standards for the delivery of routine planned and periodic cleaning for a [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] customer. Location: [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal], Genesis Way, Grimsby, North Lincolnshire, England DN37 9TU. Hourly Rate: £13.66. Contract: Permanent, Full Time, 42 hours per week. Shift: 4 on 4 off, 6pm to 6am.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out general High Risk and Low Risk hygiene tasks including washing equipment, walls, floors, overheads, mopping, belt cleaning, and using scrubbing/sweeping equipment.
  • Work as part of a team to maintain highest standards of visual and microbiological hygiene across all site areas.
  • Liaise with Hygiene Team Leader, work with chemicals, ensure containers labelled and locked.
  • Operate cleaning equipment and complete deep sanitation.
  • Dismantle equipment and machinery.
  • Handle and use chemicals subject to COSHH training.

Requirements

  • Previous experience as a food manufacturing cleaner desirable but not required; full training provided.
  • Ability to dismantle equipment and handle chemicals.
  • IPAF desirable but not essential.
