About the Role
We're looking for respectful, caring, and resilient individuals to join our team as a Detainee Custody Officer at [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal]'s Luton Airport base. As an In-Country Escorting DCO, you will be responsible for escorting and transporting immigration residents within the UK, driving a small minibus-sized vehicle, and ensuring safe transportation while maintaining high security and safety standards. This role requires flexibility, working a mix of day and night shifts covering a 24/7, 365-day operation.
Responsibilities
- Escorting and transporting immigration residents within the UK
- Driving a small minibus-sized vehicle safely

- Providing care in a fixed location at the airport
Requirements
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Calm and non-judgemental approach
- Great problem-solving abilities
- Ability to stay composed under pressure
- Must be a UK Citizen with indefinite leave to remain or EEA Citizen
- Hold a valid UK passport
- Lived in UK continuously for past 3 years
- Pass Enhanced DBS, employer referencing, and CTC vetting
- Full UK manual driving licence (at least 12 months experience)
- Fewer than 7 points on licence, no driving bans in last 12 months
- Over 21 years of age
