Relief Security Officer
[Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] is hiring a Relief Security Officer for B&Q stores in Glasgow. Full-time, £12.91/hour.
Job Overview
To protect our customer's property, people and/or assets by providing security services in direct accordance with the sites published Assignment Instructions (AI's) and any subsequent changes. Delivering results that meet and / or exceed the Key performance indicators / Service Level Agreement for the customer through full responsibility and accountability, providing a service that aids in the retention of the contract. To undertake additional training to ensure continuous self-development.
Main Duties
- Operations: Ensure compliance with policies and legal regulations; complete all tasks per Assignment Instructions; review and suggest improvements to Assignment Instructions; obtain required SIA licence (Security Guarding or Door Supervision) and CCTV licence; follow instructions and work systematically.
- Training: Complete all required competency training; undertake additional training for continuous development; renew licence 16 weeks before expiry.
- Security & Health & Safety: Report hazards; stay alert to threats; maintain professional conduct; complete incident reports; conduct check calls; report incidents to emergency services and Communication Centre.
