Cleaning and Waste Operative

The role involves general cleaning and waste disposal in a warehouse environment, working 35 hours per week on a shift pattern of 6am-2pm, 4 on/2 off. Full training provided. Salary £13.38 per hour.

Responsibilities

  • General cleaning and tidying of all areas within the warehouse including washrooms and canteens
  • Use appropriate cleaning equipment, materials, and cleaning products
  • Ensure all equipment is kept clean, well maintained and in safe working order
  • React quickly to call-outs from the client
  • Comply with all Health & Safety legislation and policies
  • Manage waste disposal

Requirements

  • Motivated, reliable, and hardworking
  • Flexible approach to the role
  • Comfortable working as part of a team
  • No experience necessary – full training provided
  • Must complete a Basic Disclosure Check and may require a drug and alcohol screening
