Overview: [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] Ltd is offering a 2-year trainee sales programme for ambitious individuals to become a Sales Engineer. The role involves learning sales, engineering, and customer engagement.
Your Tasks
- Working closely with the Sales Manager to identify and target new customers
- Calling lapsed customers to rebuild relationships and arrange site visits
- Researching and identifying new prospects across the construction industry
- Spending time in Construction Accessories and Plywood to build product knowledge
- Joining experienced sales staff on live construction projects
- Learning how to sell, negotiate and present solutions
- Building and maintaining a customer database
- Learning how to process customer orders
- Spending time with Engineering teams to understand how [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] systems are designed and used
