Bookkeeper
[Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] is seeking an experienced Bookkeeper to join the team at their Boston Office. You will be responsible for a portfolio of clients and will be attending client visits to carry out bookkeeping services.
Key Responsibilities
- Attending client premises to undertake bookkeeping on-site
- Bank reconciliations
- Posting transactions
- Reconciling sales and purchase ledgers
- Keeping Sage and Xero up to date
- Dealing with client queries as and when they arise
About You
- Minimum of 3 years previous bookkeeping experience, preferably within an accountancy practice
- AAT qualified
- Understanding of agriculture accounts is advantageous
- Experience in using Sage and Xero is preferred
- Ability to manage own tasks, good time management and able to work under pressure to tight deadlines
- Enthusiastic and motivated team player with a “can do” attitude
- Passionate about great service in order to provide a high level of client care
- Presents themselves in a professional manner during client interactions

Salary & Additional Details
Salary: Up to £35,500 depending on experience
Hours: Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week
Holiday: 23 days annual leave (excluding bank holidays) increasing by one day per each year of service (up to a maximum of 5 days)
