Working Hours: Mon–Thurs 07:00–16:00, Fri 07:00–12:00 or Mon–Thurs 08:00–17:15, Fri 08:00–12:00
Role Overview
We are seeking a Quality Engineer to support the Quality Manager in ensuring all products meet international standards and customer requirements. The role involves working closely with Engineering and Operations to deliver high-quality manufacturing solutions on time and within cost targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Support and improve the Quality Management System (QMS)
- Conduct internal audits and assist with external and AS9100 audits
- Create and maintain quality documentation and procedures
- Lead PPAP activities including MSA, SPC, PFMEA, PCP, and FAIR
- Manage non-conformances through MRB, root cause analysis, and corrective actions
- Drive continuous improvement to reduce scrap and rework
- Analyse data and implement improvements based on findings
- Support customer and supplier quality issues
- Monitor KPIs and lead quality team meetings
Requirements
Essential:
- Experience in an engineering/manufacturing environment
- Ability to read technical drawings and use measuring equipment
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and analytical skills
- Computer literate and team-oriented
Desirable:
- Experience in a quality-focused role (CMM/CNC knowledge beneficial)
- Knowledge of AS9100 and audit processes
- Six Sigma Green Belt or relevant qualification
