FULL DESCRIPTION
Field Service Engineer
Field Service Technician - NI based. Engineer with Laser/brakepress/CNC knowledge to join a world leading supplier.
Key Responsibilities
- Install and commission complex machinery at customer sites
- Diagnose mainly mechanical and also electrical faults and carry out effective repairs
- Perform planned preventative maintenance and emergency breakdown response
- Provide on-site technical support and customer guidance
- Complete accurate service reports and documentation
What we’re looking for
- Strong background in electrical/mechanical engineering ideally within Precision Engineering
- Working knowledge of CNC/PLC systems and drive systems
- Ideally experience with laser and brake press machines
- Experience with troubleshooting and diagnostics
- Keen to undergo considerable bespoke training probably in Europe initially for a short time.
