Role Overview

We are seeking a Quality Engineer to support the Quality Manager in ensuring all products meet international standards and customer requirements. The role involves working closely with Engineering and Operations to deliver high-quality manufacturing solutions on time and within cost targets.

Key Responsibilities

• Support and improve the Quality Management System (QMS)
• Conduct internal audits and assist with external and AS9100 audits
• Create and maintain quality documentation and procedures
• Lead PPAP activities including MSA, SPC, PFMEA, PCP, and FAIR
• Manage non-conformances through MRB, root cause analysis, and corrective actions
• Drive continuous improvement to reduce scrap and rework
• Analyse data and implement improvements based on findings
• Support customer and supplier quality issues
• Monitor KPIs and lead quality team meetings

Requirements

• Experience in an engineering/manufacturing environment
• Ability to read technical drawings and use measuring equipment
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and analytical skills
• Computer literate and team-oriented

Desirable

• Experience in a quality-focused role (CMM/CNC knowledge beneficial)
• Knowledge of AS9100 and audit processes
• Six Sigma Green Belt or relevant qualification
