Research Fellow (0.8 - 1.0 FTE)

[Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] (LSHTM) is seeking a Research Fellow in the Department of Health Services Research & Policy. The role is part of the NIHR Policy Research Unit in Health and Care Systems and Commissioning (PRUHSSC) and a DHSC-commissioned Post-Implementation Review of the Health and Care Act 2022.

  • Salary: £45,728 to £51,872 per annum pro rata inclusive

About the Role

The post-holder will work as part of a team delivering policy-relevant research and liaise with policymakers and advisers in the Department of Health and Social Care. The role involves conducting focus groups with vulnerable people, requiring a DBS check. The successful candidate will engage with social science perspectives, manage own workload, coordinate work to meet deadlines, and handle research governance and administrative activities.
