Role Overview

We are recruiting 1 full-time permanent Education Administrator within the Faculty of Epidemiology and Population Health’s Education Administration Team for an immediate start. The postholder will be responsible to the Education Administration Manager and will provide administrative support for London-based intensive degree programmes. This is an ideal opportunity for someone looking to commence or further a career in Higher Education administration.

Key Responsibilities

  • Acting as first point of contact for enquiries from students, staff and external stakeholders
  • Managing student records
  • Updating programme and module materials
  • Examinations and assessment coordination
  • Committee support
  • Working with confidential and sensitive information
  • Extensive communication with a wide range of people

Requirements

  • Educated to A level or equivalent relevant experience of working in an administrative role (preferably in a higher education setting)
  • Experience of organising a busy workload
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • High standard of written and spoken English
  • Strong IT skills

Salary and Benefits

The post is full-time 35 hours per week, 1 FTE. Hybrid working is available. The salary will be on the [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] salary scale, Grade 3 in the range £30,231 - £33,925 per annum (inclusive of London Weighting). The post will be subject to the [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] terms and conditions of service. Annual leave entitlement is 30 working days per year, pro rata for part time staff. In addition to this there are discretionary “Wellbeing Days”. Membership of the Pension Scheme is available. The post is based in London at [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal].
