The Role

As a Senior Dialysis Nurse, you will:

• Take charge of shifts and act as Nurse in Charge
• Deliver high-quality, patient-centred haemodialysis care
• Support and mentor junior staff and colleagues
• Monitor and assess patients pre-, during, and post-treatment
• Ensure safe and effective use of dialysis equipment
• Contribute to continuous quality improvement initiatives

Shift Pattern:

• Early: 06:30 – 14:45
• Late: 14:30 – 22:45
• Monday to Saturday rota (including long days on rotation)
• No night shifts or Sunday working

Candidate Requirements

• Registered General Nurse (NMC)
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a renal dialysis setting (essential)
• Confident in leading shifts and taking clinical responsibility
• Able to work full rota including early starts and long days
• Strong communication and team leadership skills
• Renal qualification (or working towards) desirable

Salary & Benefits

• Up to £44,515 (DOE)
• £4,500 location allowance
• 30% enhancement for evenings (after 8pm) and Saturdays
• Paid breaks
• 35 days annual leave (inclusive of bank holidays), increasing with service

Location

This role is based in South London, with excellent transport links across London. Commutable from Balham, Battersea, Bromley, Clapham, Croydon, Dartford, Ealing, Epsom, Greenwich, Guildford, Kingston upon Thames, Lewisham, Richmond, St Albans, Stratford, Watford, Wandsworth, and Wimbledon.
