Small Animal Vet | New First Opinion Practice opening near Northampton | Up to £65,000 + Benefits
Location: Near Northampton, UK | Work Type: On-site | Job Type: Full-time / Part-time, Permanent | Salary: Up to £65,000 per annum + Benefits
The Role
Full or part time, permanent position. (We already have a good locum network in place) where you will be delivering high-quality and compassionate care to a varied small animal caseload. The new vet should manage their own cases with clinical freedom, and support available when needed. Everyone here loves to build strong, lasting relationships with clients who value continuity and trust and work collaboratively with an experienced nursing and support team.
About You
- MRCVS with evidence of PQE.
- Confident in routine consults and surgery, with the ability to work sole charge when required
- Team-oriented, with a collaborative mindset
- Looking for a supportive workplace where wellbeing is prioritised
The Practice
Newly opening in 2026, we have brought in all the equipment, bells and whistles etc. that you could need. Modern facilities and equipment means you can do your job to the best of your ability, and you will be able to utilise multiple consult and theatre rooms; digital and dental X-ray, ultrasound full orthopaedic kit and an amazing in-house lab. We are a days-only site and transfer specific patients to a local hospital if needed, but means you don't have any OOH or on call on the rota. More important that the physical bits, is the incredible culture we are creating. You should want to join a team that puts emphasis on collaboration, trust and growth. Commutable from Milton Keynes, Northampton, Bedford, Kettering, Rugby, Coventry, Banbury and all surrounding areas.
