Veterinary Surgeon

[Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] is supporting a non-profit practice in Birmingham to hire a Veterinary Surgeon. Up to £75,000 salary, full or part time.

The Practice

This is a first opinion, days only surgery based in Birmingham. We use a local corporate hospital for OOH. We have referrals from across the West Midlands. On site: Digital and dental x-ray, Ultrasound x2, large theatres and consult rooms, separate wards. We have 3 vets and 3 RVNs on site daily. Cases include shelter medicine referrals, spays, castrates, orthopaedics, imaging, RTAs, ECC.

The Candidate

  • Minimum of 3 years post registration experience
  • Confident with routine surgeries and strong medical skills
  • Knowledge of charity sector and nonprofit model
  • Able to commit to full or part time hours, with 1 in 3 Saturday mornings

The Reward

  • Up to £75,000 basic salary
  • 240 hours annual leave
