Location: Sowton, Devon
Salary: £65,000 - £70,000 + bonus & benefits

This is an excellent opportunity to join an established care provider with strong central support functions and take the lead at a well-positioned home with capable leadership already in place.
The Candidate
The successful candidate must be a current or recent Registered Manager with a strong understanding of CQC criteria and a track record of achieving good outcomes in inspections. Candidates must demonstrate a thorough understanding of what excellent care looks like across nursing, residential and dementia provision. The candidate must have excellent leadership skills and provide evidence that they have the capability to run a successful care service. The position requires a confident, calm, and firm leader who can hold standards, motivate a staff team, and act as a visible presence around the home. Strong commercial acumen is essential. The company are looking for the best talent in the sector and only want to hire people who are driven and determined to make a difference to people's lives.
Requirements
- Current or recent experience as a Registered Manager, having held a CQC registration for a meaningful period.
- Experience running a service of similar size and complexity, ideally with mixed nursing, residential and dementia provision.
- Knowledgeable on CQC criteria with a history of compliant inspection reports.
- Strong commercial acumen with proven experience growing occupancy and driving performance.
Location
The home is based in Sowton, Devon and would be commutable from Honiton, Exeter, Plymouth, Taunton, Newton Abbot, Torquay, Sidmouth, Exmouth and Tiverton.
