Veterinary Surgeon – Independent Practice
Up to £80k | Full Time or Part Time | Permanent | Harlesden, North West London
Are you a Veterinary Surgeon looking to work within a genuinely independent practice where continuity of care, client relationships, and clinical autonomy are prioritised? We are working with a long-standing independent small animal practice in North West London.
The Role
This position offers a well-balanced working day, combining structured consultation time with dedicated periods for case management and clinical follow-up. You will be working within a first opinion environment, seeing a broad mix of routine and medical cases. The role is available on either a full-time or part-time basis, with Saturdays on rotation and no out-of-hours, Sundays, or bank holiday commitments.
The Practice
This is a well-established independent practice with a strong emphasis on providing a personal, consistent service. Facilities include ultrasound, radiography, and in-house capabilities. The team is small and collaborative, consisting of a Veterinary Surgeon, nursing team, and front-of-house staff.
Ideal Candidate
- MRCVS Veterinary Surgeon
- Minimum 18 months clinical experience
- Confident managing routine cases in a first opinion setting
- Comfortable working independently and as part of a small team
- Strong communication skills with client-focused approach
