Salary: Circa £32,000 per annum
Hours: Permanent, Full-Time, 40 hours per week

The successful candidate will play a key role in providing visible, hands-on leadership across two supported living settings, ensuring high-quality, person-centred care while supporting and developing a strong, motivated team.
The Candidate
The Service Manager will work closely with the Registered Manager to deliver safe, high-quality care and support. You will lead a team across two sites, with a Team Leader supporting daily operations, ensuring both staff and people we support feel supported and valued. The ideal candidate will be outgoing, confident, and unafraid to tackle challenges head-on, with proven leadership experience in learning disabilities, mental health, or complex needs services.
Key Responsibilities
- Leadership & Management: Lead, motivate, and support a passionate care team across two services. Be visible, hands-on, and lead from the front. Coach and develop team members, ensuring strong performance and engagement.
- Quality Care: Ensure delivery of high-quality, person-centred care at all times. Monitor wellbeing and outcomes for service users. Participate in audits, quality calls, and project calls with the Registered Manager.
- Regulatory Compliance: Work alongside the Registered Manager to maintain compliance with all relevant regulations and CQC standards. Support implementation of ongoing service improvements.
- Staff Development: Provide regular supervision, coaching, and development opportunities. Foster a collaborative and motivated team culture.
- Operational Oversight: Ensure smooth running of both services, managing resources effectively. Maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, families, and external professionals.
Essential Requirements
- Strong experience managing supported living or residential services for adults with learning disabilities, autism, mental health, or complex needs
- Level 3 or equivalent qualification in Health & Social Care (or demonstrable experience)
- Proven leadership skills across multiple sites
- Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
- Confident, outgoing, and willing to address issues directly
Desirable Criteria
- Experience supporting teams in services with diverse and complex needs
- Strong understanding of risk management, safeguarding, and compliance
