Group Business Development Manager – Health & Complex Care

Salary: Up to £60,000 + £6,000 bonus

The Opportunity

You’ll take ownership of developing and converting a strong pipeline, working closely with commissioners, ICBs, and placement teams to secure new opportunities.

  • Generate and win off-framework business
  • Convert spot purchase placements into long term partnerships
  • Build trusted relationships with key decision-makers
  • Identify and act on live demand across complex care and specialist services

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive new business across health, social care, and justice markets
  • Develop and manage a high-quality sales pipeline
  • Build relationships with commissioners, brokers, and local authority teams
  • Lead the full sales cycle from opportunity to close
  • Collaborate with operational and clinical teams to deliver viable, high-quality solutions
  • Contribute to market strategy, pricing, and service development

What We’re Looking For

  • Proven track record in business development within health, social care, or complex care
  • Essential: Strong experience winning business through off framework routes and spot purchasing
  • Deep understanding of commissioning and placement processes
  • Commercially astute with strong negotiation and influencing skills
  • Confident engaging senior stakeholders and decision-makers
  • Driven, proactive, and relationship-focused
