Group Business Development Manager – Health & Complex Care

Salary: Up to £60,000 + £6,000 bonus

The Opportunity
You’ll take ownership of developing and converting a strong pipeline, working closely with commissioners, ICBs, and placement teams to secure new opportunities.
- Generate and win off-framework business
- Convert spot purchase placements into long term partnerships
- Build trusted relationships with key decision-makers
- Identify and act on live demand across complex care and specialist services
Key Responsibilities
- Drive new business across health, social care, and justice markets
- Develop and manage a high-quality sales pipeline
- Build relationships with commissioners, brokers, and local authority teams
- Lead the full sales cycle from opportunity to close
- Collaborate with operational and clinical teams to deliver viable, high-quality solutions
- Contribute to market strategy, pricing, and service development
What We’re Looking For
- Proven track record in business development within health, social care, or complex care
- Essential: Strong experience winning business through off framework routes and spot purchasing
- Deep understanding of commissioning and placement processes
- Commercially astute with strong negotiation and influencing skills
- Confident engaging senior stakeholders and decision-makers
- Driven, proactive, and relationship-focused
