Senior Clinical Educator (RMN)

Location: Remote-based (UK-wide) with occasional national travel

Salary: £55,000 per annum + £3,600 car allowance

Type: Full Time, Permanent

Role Responsibilities

  • Designing and delivering engaging mental health clinical education programmes
  • Supporting the development and upskilling of Registered Nurses across services
  • Delivering a blend of online, workshop-based and face-to-face training
  • Ensuring training content aligns with CQC standards, best practice and internal frameworks
  • Supporting quality improvement, clinical competence and workforce retention
  • Acting as a senior clinical role model and subject matter expert

Candidate Requirements

  • Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) with active NMC registration
  • Qualification in teaching, or 3+ years in a Clinical Educator role
  • Strong background in mental health services (forensic, rehabilitation, PICU, LD or complex care desirable)
  • Demonstrable experience in clinical education, practice development or nurse training
  • Evidence of a clear career pathway and professional longevity
  • Confident delivering training to groups both virtually and in person
  • Strong communication, coaching and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Willingness to travel nationally on an occasional basis
