Driver’s Assistant

[Employer hidden] is looking for a reliable and enthusiastic Driver’s Assistant (Bank) to support our Transport and Logistics team on an ad‑hoc basis. This is a varied, hands-on role that plays a vital part in supporting our retail operations and helping us raise funds for our hospice services.
About the Role
As a Driver’s Assistant, you will work alongside our drivers and wider logistics team to ensure the safe delivery and collection of donated goods, including furniture, to and from our hospice shops, warehouse and other locations. You’ll help keep our warehouse organised, promote our shops in the local community and represent the [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] positively at all times. Working hours are as required, with shifts potentially covering Monday to Saturday, 9am–4pm, depending on service needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with the delivery and collection of stock, including donated furniture and other goods
- Load and unload vehicles safely and securely
- Help maintain organisation, cleanliness and standards within the warehouse

- Work both as part of a team and independently when needed
