Handyman (Blue Card Holder) - Prison Site

The role involves general maintenance, basic plumbing, carpentry, painting, and supporting site teams. Candidates must have a valid Blue Card, previous handyman experience, and be willing to work in a secure prison environment.

Location: Munnellys at HMP (IP25 6RL)
Salary: £22 - £24 per hour
Job Type: Temporary

Key Responsibilities

Carrying out general maintenance and repair work
Basic plumbing, carpentry, and painting tasks
Supporting site teams with day-to-day operational needs
Ensuring all work is completed safely and in line with site regulations
Maintaining tools and equipment in good condition

Requirements

Valid Blue Card (essential)
Previous experience in a handyman or maintenance role
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Willingness to work within a secure prison environment
