FULL DESCRIPTION
Painter and Decorator
An experienced Painter & Decorator is needed for specialist painting works on fire doors, frames, and casings in the M8 area of Manchester. This is a temporary position lasting 4-5 weeks, paying £20 per hour (CIS), with immediate start.
Key Responsibilities
- Painting fire doors, frames, architraves, and casings
- Preparing surfaces to a high standard
- Ensuring all works meet fire‑safety and compliance requirements
- Maintaining a clean and professional work area
- Working efficiently to meet project deadlines
Requirements
- CSCS Blue Card or NVQ Level 2 in Painting & Decorating
- Valid Asbestos Awareness Certificate
- Previous experience painting fire doors is essential
- Strong finishing skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and follow site instructions
