[Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] is a leading energy solutions business. The Equipment Technician will carry out maintenance, repairs, and assembly of generator pods to support project equipment packages.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage the preparation of all project equipment requirements.
• Prepare and ensure efficient operation and dispatch quality of rental generators and associated equipment.
• Perform routine maintenance, including regular engine servicing and load testing.
• Produce accurate reports on dispatched and returned equipment.
• Carry out Pre-Delivery Tests and Inspections.
• Identify and plan tasks to meet equipment dispatch targets.

QHSE Responsibilities

Comply with [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] Group Policies and promote a proactive health and safety culture, environmental sustainability, and quality improvement.

Skills and Experience

• Proven ability to diagnose faults in diesel engines and associated electrical systems.
• Ability to work with standby generators from 20kVA to 200kVA.
• Experience in maintaining and repairing diesel engines and electrical systems.
• High attention to detail and ability to fault-find and plan own workload.
• Logical problem-solving, both independently and as part of a team.
• Calm, professional manner with flexible approach.
• Proficient in IT for managing software, reports, and record-keeping.

Qualifications

• Relevant mechanical or electrical qualifications.
• Proven experience with diesel engines and electrical systems.
