Job Description
[Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] is a leading energy solutions business. The Equipment Technician will carry out maintenance, repairs, and assembly of generator pods to support project equipment packages.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and manage the preparation of all project equipment requirements.
- Prepare and ensure efficient operation and dispatch quality of rental generators and associated equipment.
- Perform routine maintenance, including regular engine servicing and load testing.
- Produce accurate reports on dispatched and returned equipment.
- Carry out Pre-Delivery Tests and Inspections.
- Identify and plan tasks to meet equipment dispatch targets.
QHSE Responsibilities
Comply with [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] Group Policies and promote a proactive health and safety culture, environmental sustainability, and quality improvement.
Skills and Experience
- Proven ability to diagnose faults in diesel engines and associated electrical systems.
- Ability to work with standby generators from 20kVA to 200kVA.
- Experience in maintaining and repairing diesel engines and electrical systems.
- High attention to detail and ability to fault-find and plan own workload.
- Logical problem-solving, both independently and as part of a team.
- Calm, professional manner with flexible approach.
- Proficient in IT for managing software, reports, and record-keeping.
Qualifications
- Relevant mechanical or electrical qualifications.
- Proven experience with diesel engines and electrical systems.
