About the Role
We are looking for a Head of Legal Operations to lead Legal Operations for [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal]’s global Legal team. This high-impact role involves shaping systems, processes, tools, and reporting to enable Legal to scale effectively. Based in London, UK.
What You’ll Do
- Lead Legal Operations for a global Legal team and help set priorities, drive execution, and improve how Legal supports the business.
- Design and improve scalable legal processes, workflows, and intake models.
- Own and evolve Legal’s technology landscape, including legal tools and AI-enabled solutions.
- Help simplify and scale legal support through better templates, playbooks, and self-service resources.
- Partner with Legal leadership on metrics, dashboards, and reporting.
- Support Legal budget management and outside counsel operations.
- Oversee Legal’s knowledge infrastructure.
- Partner cross-functionally with IT, Finance, HR, Security, Privacy, Product, and Go-to-Market.
- Lead change management and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Support adoption of automation and AI across Legal.
What You Need to Succeed
- Minimum 5 years of experience in legal operations, legal project management, legal technology, or similar role.
- Strong experience selecting, implementing, and improving legal processes and legal technology platforms, including contract lifecycle management.
- Experience using data and reporting to improve performance.
- Strong understanding of how in-house legal teams support global business.
- Experience leading change and driving adoption in fast-moving environments.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- High degree of ownership, sound judgment, and attention to detail.
- Collaborative, practical, and service-oriented approach.
- Interest in AI, legal innovation, and modern ways of working.
- Willingness to travel occasionally.
- Based in London, with the right to work in the United Kingdom.
Additional Skills That Could Set You Apart
- Experience supporting legal operations in a SaaS or technology company.
- Experience with legal knowledge management, contract standards, self-service models, or outside counsel management.
- Law degree or prior legal training.
- Additional language skills.
