Job Description

Are you a skilled auto body part painter with an eye for detail and a passion for perfection? We are seeking a talented and experienced Auto Body Part Painter to join our team at [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal]. Responsibilities

  • Prepare surfaces of automotive body parts for painting by sanding, masking, and cleaning as necessary.
  • Mix and match paint colors to ensure accurate color matching.
  • Apply primer, basecoats, and clearcoats to achieve the desired finish.
  • Use spray guns, brushes, and other painting equipment to apply paint evenly and smoothly.
  • Inspect finished work for quality and make any necessary touch-ups or adjustments.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, including proper storage and disposal of painting materials.
  • Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as an Auto Body Part Painter or similar role.
  • Proficient in automotive painting techniques, including color matching and blending.
  • Strong knowledge of various paint types, tools, and equipment used in automotive painting.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent hand-eye coordination and color perception.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team to meet deadlines.
  • Solid understanding of safety procedures and willingness to follow them strictly.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to take and follow instructions accurately.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Certification or formal training in automotive painting.
  • Familiarity with computerized paint mixing systems.
  • Experience with custom or specialty finishes.
