Production Scheduler

The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, preparing and managing detailed production schedules to ensure efficient use of resources, timely order fulfilment, and alignment with customers’ demand. Job Duties
- Developing and maintaining production schedules.
- Coordinating with Project Coordination, Engineering, procurement and production to ensure projects can start on planned dates.
- Monitoring all aspects including work-in-progress (WIP) and where required, adjusting Schedule to accommodate changes, and communicating changes to relevant departments.
- Supporting ERP/MRP systems and ensuring data accuracy.
Skills and Qualifications
- Proven experience in production scheduling/operations management or related field.
- Excellent IT skills and proficient in Microsoft Office packages.
- Understanding of Lean Manufacturing or Just-in-Time (JIT) principals.
- Ability to work within tight deadlines and manage multiple priorities.
- Working as part of a team.
- Knowledge of production planning software would be advantageous.
