Education Partnerships Manager

[Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] Group is seeking a Partnerships Manager to build distribution partnerships for Economist Education. This is a commercial role based in London, hybrid working pattern.

Role Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute partnerships that deliver revenue growth while protecting the premium positioning of [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] and Economist Education.
  • Build and maintain a healthy pipeline of partnership opportunities.
  • Identify and evaluate potential partners (e.g., professional bodies, business schools, corporate learning platforms).
  • Shape partnership proposals and commercial models (minimum guarantees, revenue share, bulk licensing, etc.).
  • Negotiate terms and conditions with legal, finance, and other stakeholders.
  • Lead partner onboarding and activation including launch planning and marketing coordination.
  • Manage partnership relationships and performance tracking.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (marketing, finance, operations, legal).
  • Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and editorial guidelines of [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] Group.

Desirable Skills

  • Proven track record in building commercial partnerships, ideally in education, professional services, media, or platforms.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building with senior stakeholders.
  • Strong commercial judgement and negotiation skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to model partnership economics.
  • Solid spreadsheet and financial modeling skills.
  • Strong project management skills.
  • Comfortable in fast-paced environments with multiple stakeholders.
  • Strong sense of ownership and resourcefulness.
  • Degree in business, marketing, or related field.
