FULL DESCRIPTION

Project Manager

[Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] - London, UK - Hybrid

The Role

At [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] we are investing heavily in the future of our business - growing our existing revenue streams, exploring new commercial opportunities, leveraging AI, upgrading infrastructure and onboarding new tooling and capabilities. We’re looking for a hands-on Project Manager to lead initiatives spanning multiple products, platforms, and business teams. You will be expected to drive outcomes, bring structure to ambiguous problems and ensure progress across complex dependencies. We run lean and value people who go beyond narrow role definitions. In this role, you’ll be expected to get into the details, build a deep understanding of your projects, and carry out hands-on analysis where required.

What you’ll be doing

  • Own project outcomes end‑to‑end, with a clear grasp of what’s being built and why, not just timelines
  • Create and maintain pragmatic delivery plans, actively managing dependencies, trade‑offs and risks
  • Keep scope focused on high‑value outcomes as priorities evolve
  • Apply lightweight governance and reporting that supports delivery rather than slows teams down
  • Work closely with Product Managers and Engineering Leads to navigate ambiguity and unblock progress
  • Proactively manage risks, issues and blockers, stepping in directly where needed
  • Coordinate business and operational change so impacted teams understand and adopt what’s delivered
  • Track costs and procurement where required, without letting process outweigh progress
  • Lead practical retros focused on real improvements, not ceremony
  • Get hands‑on with analysis when needed to clarify problems, validate assumptions and shape solutions

We’re looking for someone who

  • Is organised but comfortable working without perfect information
  • Adapts quickly as priorities change, while keeping delivery moving
  • Takes ownership and drives progress, not just updates
  • Communicates complex delivery or technical topics clearly
  • Is curious about the products and systems they deliver, and willing to get into the details
  • Moves easily between analysis and delivery coordination
  • Builds trust and influence in matrixed environments
  • Acts with integrity and is confident in raising delivery risks

What you’ll bring to the role

Essential

  • Proven experience delivering cross‑team software initiatives where requirements or solutions evolved
  • Experience in product‑led organisations, partnering closely with Product and Engineering
  • Practical application of agile ways of working, used flexibly rather than by the book
  • Ability to influence and lead without authority in lean, matrixed environments
  • Experience using analysis and delivery data to diagnose issues and improve outcomes

Ideally

  • Background in a hands‑on technology role (e.g. BA, delivery lead, engineer or similar)
  • Experience supporting the adoption of new systems or ways of working
  • Familiarity with Jira, using delivery data to understand and improve flow, not just report status
