Product Manager - Payment Network

[Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] is seeking a Product Manager - Payment Network to join our team in London or Paris.

Job Description

The PM - Payment Network is a technical role within the Product team dedicated to maximizing the health and efficiency of [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal]'s payment processing network. As our payments volume grows, this role ensures that our technical performance matches our innovative product suite. You will also work closely with our payments partners to ensure all [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] clients are compliant with card processing standards.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Authorization & Performance Excellence: Own the optimization of authorization rates, fraud-to-sales, and chargeback performance through advanced data monitoring and performance tuning. Manage relationships with issuers and payment partners. Utilize internal data tools to identify systemic improvements.
  • Technical Data Integrity & Mandates: Oversee processes ensuring clearing and settlement data accuracy. Lead technical implementation of 3DS, tokenization, and authorization messaging. Track and socialize technical deadlines for payment partner-driven changes.
  • Technical Governance & Security Compliance: Manage PCI-DSS validation for merchant SAQ and RoC submissions. Submit bi-annual technical reports and manage QSA relationships. Provide technical expertise during security reviews.

Experience

  • 5+ years experience in technical payment operations, payment engineering, or technical compliance for a major PSP or global acquirer.
  • Deep understanding of ISO 8583, 3D Secure frameworks, and authorization/settlement lifecycle.
  • Strong background in PCI-DSS governance and managing technical audits.
  • Expert ability to monitor payment performance data; experience with SQL and Snowflake required.
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional technical projects.
  • PCIP, CISA, or similar certifications are a plus.
