[Employer hidden — view at passion-project.co.uk] is seeking an experienced AI Lead for the C++ Ecosystem team to drive AI-enhanced product development across CLion and IntelliJ IDEA.

Responsibilities

  • Join an engineering team focused on integrating AI into existing products and building new AI-powered solutions.
  • Collaborate with product managers, ML and QA engineers, stakeholders, and senior developers.
  • Contribute to the product roadmap and participate in feature design.
  • Refine team processes and culture.
  • Act as a coach – spend time on technical tasks and software architecture.
  • Rapidly assimilate technical information and dive into mature codebases.
  • Coach team members on technical and soft skills.

Requirements

  • Substantial experience with Kotlin and/or Java.
  • Bleeding-edge knowledge of AI technologies in software development tooling.
  • Proven record of joining mature teams and making impact as an individual contributor.
  • Track record of proposing radical solutions to complex technical issues.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with diverse colleagues.
  • Clear understanding of product management in the development life cycle.
