About the Role

The Applications Engineer uses expert knowledge on SOLIDWORKS 3D CAD software to deliver solutions to customers, including helpdesk support, training, pre-sales demonstrations, and consulting.

Duties and Responsibilities

Building rapport with customers using SOLIDWORKS
Delivering SOLIDWORKS training
Resolving technical problems
Working with sales team
Consultative approach to identify product suitability
Product demonstrations

Experience and Skills Required

Engineering or design experience
Knowledge of 3D CAD (SOLIDWORKS, Pro/ENGINEER, Inventor)
Graduate or HNC in relevant field
Excellent presentation skills
Professional manner
Planning and organisational skills
Ability to identify customer needs
MS Office skills
Willingness to travel
Creative problem solver
