Senior Commercial Underwriter
[Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] is hiring a Senior Commercial Underwriter in Bristol. This hybrid role offers a salary up to £70,000 plus 17.5% annual bonus and benefits. Permanent, full-time (part-time considered).
About the Role
[Employer hidden — sign up to reveal]'s Large Corporate Insurance Department manages the largest and most complex corporate risks. As Senior Commercial Underwriter, you will manage a portfolio of existing clients and quotations, focusing on property covers. You'll evaluate risks, negotiate policy terms, and build relationships with agents, brokers, and clients. You'll also coach team members and support continuous improvement.
About You
You need extensive commercial underwriting experience in Commercial Property risks within the UK general insurance market. Skills include coaching, communication, decision-making, collaboration, and strategic thinking. CII qualification is desirable but not essential.
